Welcome to DreamyShelf.com (“DreamyShelf”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website DreamyShelf.com (the “Site”) and any products or services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

By using this Site, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or using the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian; and
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.

If you are under 18, you may only use the Site with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration

To place orders and access certain features, you may create an account on DreamyShelf.com.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
• Maintain and promptly update your account information;
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others;
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

4.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order on our Site, this constitutes an offer to purchase products from us according to these Terms.

4.2 Order Confirmation

• After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it.
• This email does not mean that your order has been accepted.
• Acceptance of your order and formation of the contract between you and us occur when we send you a separate email confirming shipment of the products (“Shipping Confirmation”).

4.3 Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in whole or in part, for reasons including but not limited to:

• Product unavailability;
• Errors in product information or pricing;
• Suspected fraud or unauthorized/illegal activity;
• Issues with payment authorization or delivery address.

If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will refund the full amount paid for the cancelled items.

5. Products and Availability

• We strive to describe and photograph products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that colors, dimensions, or other details will perfectly match your device’s display.
• Availability of products is subject to change without notice.
• Some books may have minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., small dents, printing variations) that do not affect the reading quality. Where possible, such imperfections are described in the product listing.

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product at any time.

6. Prices, Taxes, and Currency

• All prices on the Site are listed in USD (US Dollars), unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time before you place an order.
• The price charged will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed, as displayed at checkout.
• Applicable sales taxes or other mandatory charges will be calculated and shown at checkout based on your shipping address, where required by law.

For international orders, import duties, customs fees, and taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer (see Section 9).

7. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (e.g., credit/debit cards, PayPal, or other payment processors).

By submitting payment information, you represent that:

• You are authorized to use the payment method provided;
• The information you provide is true and correct;
• You authorize us (and our third-party payment processors) to charge the total order amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.

We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers using secure technology.

8. Shipping and Delivery

8.1 Shipping Locations

We currently ship to United States and Canada. Available shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.

8.2 Processing Time

• For products that are in stock at our warehouse, orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received, excluding weekends and holidays.
• For products that are on their way to our warehouse (“pre-arrival” items), the estimated number of days until dispatch is indicated individually on the product page on our Site.
• During peak seasons or special promotions, processing times may be longer.

8.3 Delivery Estimates

Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to carrier issues, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.

8.4 Risk of Loss

All items purchased are shipped according to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery of the products to the carrier.

8.5 Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

• Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
• If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to pick up, we may require additional shipping fees to resend the order.

8.6 Packages Marked as Delivered

If the carrier’s tracking information indicates that a package has been delivered (including statuses such as “Delivered”, “Delivered to Agent”, “Left in/at Mailbox”, or similar), we consider the shipment fulfilled. DreamyShelf is not responsible for loss, theft, or misdelivery of packages after the carrier marks the shipment as delivered.

• Please verify the shipping address and check your mailbox, front door/porch, building mailroom/front desk, and with neighbors or household members.
• We recommend contacting the carrier as soon as possible to request additional delivery details (such as GPS coordinates or a delivery photo where available) and to open a missing mail claim.
• If you suspect theft, you may wish to file a police report.
• We will provide reasonable assistance (e.g., proof of shipment, tracking number, carrier information) upon request, but replacement or refund is not guaranteed in these cases.

9. International Orders and Customs

For orders shipped outside of United States (including Canada):

• You are responsible for complying with your local laws and regulations regarding the import of books and related goods.
• You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees charged by your country’s authorities or postal service.
• We are not responsible for delays due to customs processing.

We do not guarantee that any product available on the Site is appropriate or available for use in all locations.

10. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy is part of these Terms. In summary:

10.1 General Conditions

• Time frame for returns: 14 days from delivery.
• Items must be in new, unused condition, unless returned due to damage or defect.
• Some items may be non-refundable, such as:

• Digital products (e-books, downloads);
• Custom or personalized items;
• Gift cards;
• Clearance or “final sale” items.

10.2 Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 3 days from the moment of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

We may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law:

• Replace the item;
• Offer store credit; or
• Issue a refund.

10.3 Return Shipping

• Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
• We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

10.4 Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time.
• Processing times may depend on your bank or payment provider.

11. Gift Cards and Store Credit

• Gift cards purchased from DreamyShelf.com are redeemable only on our Site and cannot be exchanged for cash (except where required by law).
• Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced, except as required by law and only with valid proof of purchase.
• Store credit, if issued, will be subject to any terms communicated at the time of issuance.

12. Pre-Orders and Backorders

From time to time, we may offer pre-orders or backorders for upcoming or temporarily out-of-stock titles.

• Estimated release or arrival dates are provided as guidance only and may change.
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel pre-orders if the title is not ultimately available or if there are significant changes in publication details.
• If we cancel a pre-order, you will receive a full refund for that item.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, icons, and design (“Content”), is owned by DreamyShelf or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may:

• Access and view the Site and its Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Content;
• Use our trademarks, trade dress, or logos;
• Use any data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering tools on the Site.

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by us.

14. User Content (Reviews, Comments, etc.)

You may have the opportunity to submit reviews, ratings, comments, photos, or other content (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant DreamyShelf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, display, and distribute such User Content in any media;

• Be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• Infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Contain spam, commercial solicitations, or misleading information.

We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit User Content at our sole discretion.

15. Prohibited Activities

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

If mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction, those protections will apply.
